At USB 2.0 stage, it should be Micro USB.
Which USB 3.0 connector is mostly used on printer as well as hard drive?
For printer, it is a USB-B, but it really seldom finds a printer use a USB 3.0 Type B, instead, mostly still stay on its predecessor USB 2.0 Type-B.
For hard drive, there are 2 types of connector found on USB 3.0: USB-B and Micro USB. My Buffalo External Hard Drive is using a USB-B while my WD Passport is using a Micro USB.
No matter which situation, now you have a chance to connect to a computer if it got a USB-C socket.
